Bradley, the creator behind the TikTok account Bradley on a Budget, recently documented a trip to a college campus on graduation day to see what treasures he could recover from the trash, Daily Dot reported. With over 1.7 million followers, he knew that graduation day is the perfect time to find items that students abandon when they move out. He expected to find furniture and household goods that still had plenty of life left in them, and he certainly wasn’t disappointed by what he found. The video has already racked up more than 4.1 million views and over 1,000 comments from people who have very strong opinions about his haul. He started his search by climbing into an overflowing dumpster where he spotted a three-drawer cabinet. It looked to be in solid shape, so he hauled it out. He also managed to snag a Trader Joe’s reusable shopping bag, which he pointed out is quite a trendy find. While he was digging through the bins, he ran into another dumpster diver named Lizzie It turns out she was already a fan of his content, and the two decided to team up for the rest of the day. Lizzie helped out by filming as Bradley jumped into another dumpster to see what else he could pull out. He was pretty excited to uncover a massive roll of industrial-grade toilet paper, which is the kind you usually only see in public restrooms. One viewer couldn’t help but chime in, writing, “The toilet paper is insane.” He also came across some rolls of paper towels, but they were looking a bit grimy. He checked with Lizzie to see if she wanted them, asking, “They’re kind of dirty. Maybe if you take the top layers off. Do you want them?” The duo kept searching and found a variety of random items, including cereal, an artificial bouquet of flowers, and several pairs of used shoes. One of the most interesting finds was a bottle of hair growth conditioner. Bradley didn’t hesitate to grab it for himself, joking about his own hairline by saying, “I’m balding, so I’m taking this.” By the time he finished his final dive, he had collected a solid pile of goods to take home. He even joked that the giant roll of toilet paper would last him “probably, like, the next, like, two years.” The reaction in the comments section has been all over the place. Some people are totally on board with the idea that college students throw away perfectly good items, but others are genuinely grossed out by his choices. One person clearly felt he had crossed a line, writing, “This isn’t frugal anymore. It’s insanity. Have some decency.” Others were more concerned about the hygiene aspect of his hobby. One commenter warned him, “Dude at least wear some gloves man.” Another person shared a rather hilarious, albeit slightly unsettling, thought about visiting friends in the future. They wrote, “You really can’t trust anybody because imagine going to someone’s house and the toilet paper they have out is from somebody else’s dumpster.”
