Venkata Rama Dasu, son of former Home Minister Chegondi Harirama Jogaiah and V. Bobby, son of former Rajamahendravaram Deputy Mayor Vasireddi Rambabu, were arrested on Saturday night in connection with clashes between two groups in an apartment. The two groups clashed twice following a dispute between Mr. Venkata Rama Dasu and the apartment watchman over car parking and ongoing repair works on October 1. Rajamahendravaram city police swung into action after members of the two groups filed separate complaints at two police stations, accusing each other. However, none of them were injured in either of the two clashes on October 1. East Godavari SP D. Narasimha Kishore’s office confirmed that eight members had been arrested in connection with the two complaints.
