I had to take my child out of main stream school for the opposite. They were the target for bullies and the school cared less. So they did DECV ( Distance Education Centre Victoria) and because they had a paid support worker at the school that’s all they cared about when I said we were leaving at the end of yr 7. They quite enjoyed it as they had days where we met ups with other kids and school camps. But in hindsight I probably should have just changed schools. But at the time I had just had major surgery so it suited me.
