I’m in an outpatient urgent care and the pt came in with concerns about work of breathing and being irritable. The pt ended up being admitted later that night after we discharged and I feel like I failed them. It was the type of pt where they could go either way, like they’d turn around or crash but I feel like the discharge happened to quick. The provider didn’t seem too concerned and sent them on their way when I wanted to wait and see if they improved first after the antipyretic and I know I I should’ve spoken up and that I failed them because I feel like I relied too much on the providers opinion.   submitted by   /u/Hopeful_Result_1010 [link]   [comments]
