I built a platform where you learn Linux and DevOps on a real machine with root access, not quizzes

Wait 5 sec.

Hi everyone. I'm a full-stack dev, and IzzyLab is my side project. Most Linux/DevOps courses I tried were videos plus multiple-choice quizzes. So I built the thing I wanted: a real Linux machine with root access in the browser and 500+ hands-on tasks, from basic commands to nginx, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Ansible and Terraform. The part I'm most happy with: checks verify the system state, not the commands you typed, so you can solve each task any way you like. If you break something, reset and get a fresh sandbox. There are also story-driven incidents where production is broken and you have to find out why. It's free to start: izzylab.io I'd really appreciate feedback on onboarding, task difficulty and which topics are missing. submitted by /u/MockingAlchemist [link] [comments]
