My friend built a site where you turn a knob to a year, pick a genre, and a random song from that combo starts playing. No searching, you just land wherever the knob takes you. Everything is hand-curated, so there are a lot of underrated gems mixed in with the hits. He also hid some Easter eggs if you want to go looking. Fair warning, some year/genre combos are still thin because he's filling in the data manually. If you hit a gap, that's why. Try it: backtrack.runs-on.dev He'd love feedback, especially on how the knob feels on mobile. submitted by /u/krrish82 [link] [comments]
