The FSSAI has flagged a low-fat dairy whitener from Nestle India as unsafe and substandard, following a sampling conducted at Hotel Lalit in Connaught Place, New Delhi. The report revealed breaches of the Food Safety and Standards Act. As a result, Bharat Hotels Ltd was issued a notice to halt sales of the offending product. They were also granted a chance to appeal the findings within a stipulated period.
