I made a free browser card game about rugby, from the County Cup to the National League

Wait 5 sec.

Hi all ! I'm the solo dev. Scrum Deck is a card game that pokes fun at club rugby: you take a village side from the County Cup to the National League. **Free, plays in your browser:** https://bouldouklu.itch.io/scrum-deck - With the ball you play Pick & Go, mauls and passes to make metres, but if your control can't hold their pressure, it's a turnover. - Without it, the same cards become tackles and jackals. A dominant tackle drives them back; win the ball and you get a counter-attack. - The referee keeps count: one cynical ruck too many and it's a penalty. Your players tire and the subs come on. - Between matches, the third half: the prop singing on the table, the president's bet, dinner with the referee. - Further up: town grounds, then the National League with rush defences and benches full of internationals. And yes, I know... a game called Scrum Deck with no scrums yet. Lineouts and scrums are next on my list, so tell me how you'd turn them into cards. It's an early prototype, free, in English, French, Spanish and Italian. Does it feel like rugby? What did I get wrong? Thanks for playing and happy weekend! submitted by /u/bouldouklu [link] [comments]
