Hey all, wanted to share a project I've been working on called Look, a cross-platform app launcher (macOS, Linux, Windows). The core is written in Rust, focused on fast file search and matching. A few technical details that might be relevant here: Search/ranking uses greedy and dynamic programming approaches to keep matching fast even with large result sets. Cross-platform CI/CD builds and auto-packages to Homebrew, AUR (yay), Scoop, and Nix. It recently got accepted into homebrew-core, which took a few rounds of review around dependency management and build reproducibility.
