Connections from coast to coast took time Sunday morning to reflect on big weekend results, and look forward to the World Championships looming large on the horizon in Kentucky with many now weighing their options after garnering expenses-paid, or partially covered, berths. Positive prognosis abound as horses dispersed to ship home or were enjoying an easy morning in the shedrow.Finger Lakes-based trainer John Grabowski is one of several with juvenile possibles for the Breeders' Cup after this stable star Dotsy (Tacitus) turned her challenger away in the stretch to win the GI Frizette Stakes with ears pricked. Her victory in the contest awarded the connections a $30,000 entry credit to the GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies as part of the “Dirt Dozen” program, and Grabowski went on record saying that having half of the related fees already covered has made the prospect of entering Dotsy in the World Championships very enticing.“We're definitely considering it,” Grabowski said. “We've got to get her home, really evaluate her and make sure we're going forward to do this. But yes, definitely considering it. That would be another incredible experience, absolutely.”Runner-up Rum Twist (Mandaloun) is a possible for the Juvenile Fillies as well for trainer Mark Hennig, who has said he is interested in testing his bay around two turns for the first time in the World Championships.“She came out of it well. We'll see how things go,” Hennig said. “I think, ultimately, she wants to go two turns. I just didn't want to do it right away. I like horses first time around two turns–especially when they really want to do it–it sets up, hopefully, for her best race of the year there [in the Juvenile Fillies], if we did that. We're not going to decide yet, we'll get back to the track and see how things are going.”Brickyard Belle likely for Juvenile Turf SprintSaturday's GIII Matron victress Brickyard Belle (Yaupon), after stopping the clock in the six-furlong turf dash nearly a full second faster than Good to be King (War Front) managed four races later, could be taking on the boys at the end of the month as trainer Miguel Clement is looking at an entry in the GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint.“Yesterday, the boys ran a second slower than the girls which is very encouraging. At the moment, we'll try and run against the boys,” said Clement's assistant trainer Christophe Lorieul. “This filly [Brickyard Belle] is obviously very talented; we just have to keep her together. She's good this morning and is on her way back to Saratoga.”The aforementioned Good to Be King is also heading to the GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint after winning the GIII Futurity Stakes for trainer Rusty Arnold and owner/breeder Cherry Valley Farm. The Futurity was another in a series of 'WAYI' races offered on Saturday.“[The Breeders' Cup is] the plan as long as he ships home good and he's in good shape,” Arnold said. “They [assistants at Belmont] said he's all good this morning. All systems go. He gets on a van tomorrow to come back to Keeneland.”Domestic Agenda winning the Miss Grillo | Sarah AndrewBrown's Saturday Runners in Good FormKlaravich Stables's Domestic Agenda (American Pharoah) has emerged from her dominant score in the 'Win and You're In' GII Miss Grillo Stakes in good form, as well as Chad Brown stablemates Gaudreau (Nyquist) and Libby Lloyd (Into Mischief).“[Domestic Agenda] came out of the race great,” said Lee Vickers, assistant to Brown. “Full of herself, looking good, she looks excellent. I loved that performance. She really stepped up. I felt like when she got warmed to the task through the turn, she finished real strong in the lane. She finished with a real good effect.”“Gaudreau looked great. He ran a blinding race. Any normal race, he probably would've won it, but the winner was something else, wasn't he? He came out of the race good, no problems at all there, and same with Libby Lloyd.”Let Em Know, Regaled Breeders' Cup Bound after Saturday WinsLet Em Know (Jackie's Warrior) has a date with the World Championships after his sterling effort in the GIII Pilgrim Stakes, and will be pointed to the GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf after garnering a 'Win and You're In' berth.“He's good this morning. He'll ship to Churchill tomorrow,” said trainer Whit Beckman.Ten minutes after getting his picture taken at Belmont Park, Beckman's seasoned racemare Regaled (Mohaymen) took home the victory in the GIII Delaware Handicap and will also be heading to Keeneland for the World Championships with an eye on improving upon her third-place finish in the 2025 Distaff.“She had a pretty solid spring and early summer. We gave her a little freshening, and it paid off,” Beckman said. “She's heading back to Churchill today and as long as she looks good and is ready to do it again, I see no reason not to [go to the Breeders' Cup]. Hopefully, there will be enough pace and maybe there will be an outsider that will push a little faster.”Beckman also added that GI Champagne-third Club Reign (Core Beliefs) will remain a possible for the Breeders' Cup Juvenile after the announcement that U.S.S. Valor (War of Will), winner of said race, would not be making the trip to Keeneland.“Right now, we'll keep it as an option and see how he comes out of the race. We're not definite about doing anything at this point. We'll see how everything falls together,” Beckman said. The post Belmont Updates: Likely Entries for World Championship Races Filter in after Big Saturday appeared first on TDN | Thoroughbred Daily News | Horse Racing News, Results and Video | Thoroughbred Breeding and Auctions.
