Żurrieq is gearing up to welcome the first-ever Horizon Beer Festival, taking place at Ġnien il-Ġibjun from 9th to 11th October, with three days of entertainment, food, drinks and activities for the whole family.Organised by the voluntary group Minn Qalb iż-Żrieraq, the festival will offer free entrance, with voluntary donations collected throughout the weekend in support of Hospice Malta.While beer lovers will have plenty to look forward to, the event will offer much more than just beer, with a selection of wines, other drinks and food options available.The entertainment programme will feature live performances by Karin Duff and Band, Nebula Band, Tikka Banda and Ozzy Lino, alongside DJ sets by Carlo Gerada, Luca Lorenzo, Ziggy and Charmaine.Visitors can also enjoy Music Bingo with The Tipsy Boyz, Zumba, Sip & Paint, Boots & Beats, a car show and a dedicated kids’ zone, as well as storytelling sessions and activities organised by Ambjent Malta.Minn Qalb iż-Żrieraq is already known for its annual three-day Christmas event, which combines festive activities with fundraising for charity.
