Govt. plans to set up NIEIT centre in Pithapuram - The HinduPublished - June 07, 2026 09:31 pm IST - KAKINADAKakinada MP Tangella Uday Srinivas on Sunday said the State government has proposed to set up the (NIEIT) centre at Pithapuram in Kakinada District following a field study carried out by the Department of Information Technology, Electronics and Communications. This comes after the Ministry of Electronics & Information technology was appealed to set up the NIEIT centre.
