On a side note, maybe you know (I'm not diabetic myself) but if insulin is this stable and portable nowadays, why doesn't the military accept diabetics? I had once heard it was because a soldier might be deployed somewhere hot, then have to go off base for whatever length of time, and so not be able to have access to the properly stored insulin. But from this post's comments, it seems like there are indeed various options nowadays? 🤔
