World’s Famous ‘DJ Priest’ Padre Guilherme To Perform In Malta For The First Time

International artist Padre Guilherme, widely known as the “DJ Priest”, is set to perform in Malta for the very first time as a headline act at the Għaxaq Music Festival 2026.The Portuguese priest and DJ will take to the stage on Friday 24th July 2026, joined by UK electronic music duo POU – Product of Us, as part of what organisers are describing as an international-level production.Padre Guilherme gained global recognition following his performance at World Youth Day in Lisbon in 2023, where he played in front of more than one million people. Since then, he has continued performing across Europe, Latin America and the Middle East, with appearances in cities including Buenos Aires, Beirut, Madrid, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Fátima.Known for blending electronic music with messages of hope, unity and spirituality, Padre Guilherme has built a unique following that extends far beyond traditional dance music audiences.His appearance at the Għaxaq Music Festival will mark his first-ever live performance in Malta.The event will also feature Product of Us, one of the UK’s best-known names in trance and electronic dance music, alongside Maltese artists JJoy, Mux and Braynod.The 2026 edition of the festival forms part of the celebrations marking the 400th anniversary of the establishment of the Parish of Ħal Għaxaq.Beyond the music, the festival will also support a charitable cause, with proceeds going towards Embrace Diversity Organisation, which works with children and young people with disabilities.Organisers are expecting the event to be one of the highlights of Malta’s summer calendar in 2026, bringing together international and local artists for a night of electronic music and celebration.Share with someone interested! •
