Looking for surgeons - from ohio but willing to travel at this point

Looking for surgeons who specialize in surgery for deep infiltrating and complex endometriosis and adenomyosis who can get me in somewhat fast I had my first diagnostic laparoscopic excision surgery in December. My surgeon diagnosed me with Stage 3 endo, but admitted she left 20% of it (the deep infiltrating endo in my bowels) and said there’s probably some she didn’t catch too because it isn’t her specialty, and this was mostly diagnostic. She got as much as she could and I felt mild relief afterwards for about a month or so after. She mentioned getting another surgery this year from someone more specialized but the referall she made aren’t scheduling until late 2027, plus I don’t even know if they specialize in the complex stuff either. And after trying a few different hormonal birth control pills on top of my Mirena IUD I think I’ve reached a dead end with this dr. I’ve been trying to find surgeons that my pcp can refer me to but I’m having a hard time finding people that can help in my situation and who don’t have an insane waitlist because my endo is pretty much right where it was pre surgery, and my bowel issues are getting so bad I can barely eat and I’ve lost nearly 15 pounds because of it, which brings me down to 110 pounds which is not weight loss I can afford. I’m in so much pain again and I know a lot of these surgeons take a long time to get in but I seriously am in so much pain I can’t wait a year also I got a colonoscopy and there are no underlying gastrointestinal issues other than the endo submitted by /u/Potential_Macaron184 [link] [comments]
