Technically she’s venting. She’s not asked for money. She went into this understanding what her parents’ plan was and they pulled the rug out from under her. I can understand why someone who technically lives in a foreign country would have a hard time getting a loan. If she knew her parents were going to do this, she might have chosen a different school. My American brain wonders why the brothers couldn’t stay home with mommy for a year until the woman graduated, but I’m not from their culture. It’s shitty for sure, but culturally appropriate.
