The official Fire Emblem account has given more information on Cai, who will be one of the playable main protagonists of the upcoming Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave. There are details on his personality, as well as how he handles in combat. Cai is an energetic and earnest boy who loves his family. He and his childhood friends spend their days peacefully living in the quiet town of Libeira, but on the day of his fifteenth birthday, the wheels of fate begin to turn. Cai loves physical activities and catching animals. As a note, “Libeira” is an unofficial translation based on the Japanese name of his hometown. It will probably have a different name in the English version of the game. In Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, Cai can ride a “flying ostrich,” which will allow him to jump over obstacles to more easily get to enemies with his spear. This will be its own type of unit. You can watch a clip of him in battle here: 戦闘では「飛駝」に騎乗し、障害物を跳び越えながら移動。戦場を縦横無尽に駆け回り、得意の槍で敵を貫きます。#FE万紫千紅 pic.twitter.com/9j2GqlpaBd— 『ファイアーエムブレム』総合 (@FireEmblemJP) June 12, 2026 Daiki Yamashita will voice Cai in the Japanese version of Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave.
