Fortunately, it appears the fire caused only minor damage to the equipment inside the kiosk near Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Park.Credit: DisneyThis incident comes amid a wave of construction in the Central Plaza area at Disneyland Park. Disneyland Paris Resort is currently refurbishing the bridge to Sleeping Beauty Castle, forcing guests to use an alternate pathway to access the attractions inside the theme park icon: the castle walkthrough and La Tanière du Dragon (“The Lair of the Dragon”). The refurbishment project is expected to wrap up in late September 2026.Construction walls have also appeared near Sleeping Beauty Castle over the last few months, as crews refurbish some pavement and other structures in the area. Disneyland Paris Resort hasn’t issued any statements about these projects, which appear unrelated to the recent popcorn kiosk fire.Has a restaurant closure ever impacted your visit to Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, or an international Disney park?
