Resident Evil Veronica Remake Arrives in 2027

Wait 5 sec.

Code Veronica is coming back, as a reimagining remake called Resident Evil Veronica will be released. That will show up on the Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. We’ll see it in 2027, though there’s no exact release month for it yet. A first trailer did show up at Summer Game Fest 2026, however. The first trailer hinted at what we can expect from the remake. We see a first person perspective as someone is heading to an apartment. An elderly woman lets her in, and explains that the person’s brother is a bit messy. As the person looks around, the apparently landlord leaves. Someone knocks. the unknown individual checks the peephole and doesn’t initially see anyone. After a jumpscare, we see the person was Claire Redfield, searching for her brother Chris, all along.  Here’s the Resident Evil Veronica trailer from Summer Game Fest 2026, courtesy of GamersPrey. This will mark the fifth recent remake. We’ve seen, in the last few years, remakes of entries like Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 4.  Here’s the full SGF 2026 presentation: The original Resident Evil: Code Veronica is on the Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2, PS3, and Xbox 360, and the new reimagining remake will show up in 2027 on the Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. The post Resident Evil Veronica Remake Arrives in 2027 appeared first on Siliconera.
