Not only that, but the Mando-Verse has now officially transcended the streamer with the release of The Mandalorian & Grogu (2026).Unfortunately, due to a mixed reception from audiences and critics and and an underwhelming performance at the worldwide box office, the Mando-Verse may be dead in the water. As such, it remains to be seen what the future looks like for Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and Grogu.As for Dave Filoni’s long-gestating untitled Mando-Verse project, which was expected to act as a crossover between shows like The Mandalorian and Ahsoka, reports suggest that it’s unlikely to move forward on the big screen, with rumors claiming it may instead being reworked into a limited series for Disney+, which would hardly be surprising now that the Mando-Verse has culminated in a poorly received film.Ahsoka Season 2 remains the only Mando-Verse project currently in development. And an all-new era for the franchise has already been confirmed to begin with the upcoming film, Star Wars: Starfighter (2027), which is described as a “standalone adventure” set five years after the events of The Rise of Skywalker.Post-sequel trilogy territory currently remains uncharted.
