The second edition of The 10km L-Istrina Palace Run in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund will take place on 14th June, with participants running from Sant’Anton Palace to the President’s Palace in Valletta.Details were announced during a press conference at Sant’Anton Palace, where President Myriam Spiteri Debono thanked participants for supporting the Malta Community Chest Fund’s work assisting people in need.The President noted that the fund receives requests for assistance throughout the year, with demand continuing to grow as needs evolve.The event was launched last year, linking Verdala Palace and Sant’Anton Palace, and attracted nearly 800 participants.Major Richard Vassallo, who initiated the run, said the idea emerged from athletes seeking another opportunity to support the Malta Community Chest Fund beyond the President’s Walk.Registration for The 10km L-Istrina Palace Run is available through the Malta Marathon website.Will you be taking part this year?•
