Morton Boesen, the doctor of the Denmark national team, has said Christian Eriksen is ‘doing well’ after his frightening collapse on the pitch against Ukraine.The former Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United midfielder collapsed during the friendly fixture, but was conscious when his left the pitch. The incident follows the cardiac arrest suffered by Eriksen during a European Championship match in 2021.Players from both teams formed a ring around Eriksen before he was eventually able to walk from the pitch. The match was abandoned following the incident.Eriksen resumed his playing career after his 2021 cardiac arrest after being fitted with an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) in his chest, which can reset the heart.
