Thing is, the people that need it the most feel bad asking and will do everything they can before doing it. I’d rather starve than ask for help because it feels gross. Which shouldn’t be the case, but I wouldn’t want to be lumped with scammers. The scammers join the groups and take advantage of the good people donating. It’s disgusting.
