The league is evolving, but for my style of football, I think the Premier League or LaLiga would make more of my talent, as a player.“If a Premier League opportunity were to come along, I would be very happy. “I think that I can put my talent up against the players there, who are of a very high level. Playing in that kind of a league really gets the best out of a player.“Let’s see what will happen this summer.”Leao joined Milan from French side Lille in August 2019 in a £30million deal.He has since gone on to play 291 times for the Rossoneri, registering 80 goals and 65 assists. The winger has lifted the Serie A title and Italian Supercup during his time at San SiroGettyWhich club could Leao move to?Leao has long been linked with a move to English football with Manchester United and Arsenal both reportedly showing an interest. But the winger may have to remain patient if he is to get his dream move.At present, the only firm interest in him is from Galatasaray and Fenerbahce however, Leao is not keen on a move to Turkey.Leao was part of a Milan side that endured a disappointing end to the season.Locked in the Serie A title race in early March, a run of poor form saw Milan quickly slip out of contention before Inter eventually claimed the title. With Champions League qualification almost a given, Milan spectacularly blew their top four hopes on the final day of the season which saw Cesc Fabregas’ Como sneak into the top four alongside the returning Roma and last season’s Serie A champions Napoli.Leao believes Max Allegri’s tactics this season affected his performancesGettyThat saw boss Max Allegri and members of the board leave the club following the club’s failures and Leao appeared to hit out at his former manager’s tactical approach as to why the season fell flat.“It was a difficult season,” Leao said. “We didn’t get into the Champions League.“I played while injured for 4-5 months with a groin inflammation, in a position that was not suited to me. The tactical system did not help me.“I felt that I could make the difference, but the way the team played didn’t put me in a condition to do that. At the end of the day, it wore me down.”
