Beth Mead has joined Women's Super League champions Manchester City on a free transfer.The England international left Arsenal at the end of the 2025-26 season.Mead played 167 WSL games for the Gunners, which ranks as the fourth-most for the club in the competition.Her tally of 104 WSL goal involvements for Arsenal trails only Vivianne Miedema (115), while Mead holds the record in the top flight for assists, with 54.The 31-year-old failed to agree fresh terms with Arsenal, however, and she has now penned a three-year deal with City."I'm very proud to be here.
