The Telugu Desam Party has selected three candidates for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections. Sana Sathish Babu will be renominated. Other chosen candidates are educationist Bhashyam Ramakrishna and Vijay Chinthakayala, son of Andhra Pradesh Speaker Chinthakayala Ayyana Patrudu. The NDA alliance secured a majority in the assembly elections, enabling them to claim four Rajya Sabha seats.
