Laparoscopy to remove endo doesn't improve fertility?

Wait 5 sec.

Please someone clarify. I have been ttc #2 for 16 months with 4 chemicals and 1 blighted ovum in that time. (successful pregnancy in 2023) After seeing my Obgyn for RPL testing I went to a fertility specialist and got a positive Receptiva and scar tissue seen in hsg. They recommended laparoscopy for endo and hysteroscopy for scar tissue. I just met with my Obgyn and while she is happy to do the procedure, she made it very clear that removing endo will play no part in increasing my chances to get pregnant. I had never heard that before and now I'm confused... I thought it would at the very least improve my inflammation. Why else does Receptiva recommend a lap as treatment? (if not pursuing ivf) Does anyone have any info? submitted by /u/una96 [link] [comments]
