Having spent over two weeks in jail, producer Dmario is disappointed with how his close friends and artists shied away from demanding justice and his release. Born Isaac Kahuju, the Legend Production Studios boss, was released from Luzira Prison at the start of June after being arrested for alleged assault in a bar incident.Dmario narrated that he was wrongfully arrested after police found him in the wrong place, where chaos ensued during Arsenal’s Premier League title win celebrations.Jowy Landa explains why her nudes will never leak onlineI was at a bar to watch a live band performance, but on the same night, there was an Arsenal match. They were celebrating, so there was some chaos at the bar. When police rounded up people, I was also arrested.Dmario is, however, shocked by how the people he has always referred to as friends ignored him when he was arrested, and that none of them visited him in jail, or even at the court premises.None of my friends for whom I produced songs visited me in jail or appeared at the court. I was arrested on 22nd May, so I spent two weeks in jail, but not a single artist checked on me in jail. I only saw them soliciting money from people online in my name. Only my family stood with me.When asked if his closest friend Feffe Bussi assisted him in the trying times, Dmario noted that, despite being aware of his arrest, the rapper did not bother calling for his release at all.He must have known about it; there is no way he couldn’t have known about my arrest, because his driver was on TV falsely claiming they got me a lawyer and a production warrant.
