We paid around $1200 (plus lunch and dinner) for our wedding/reception photography in 2008, which included editing and an album, but that was also pricing from a friend who is a professional photographer. He cut us a deal and worked his ever-loving ass off, too. He spent around 12 hours with us that day, and who knows how many editing and stuff. We were quoted anywhere between $1500 and $2000 by several photographers.
