Meta has postponed the launch of its Phoenix mixed-reality glasses to 2027, citing the need for a fully refined device. The lighter, lower-spec goggles, previously called Puffin, aim to balance performance and design. The move coincides with up to 30% budget cuts for Meta’s metaverse division, Reality Labs.
