Nearly 100 people fell ill with norovirus aboard Royal Caribbean’s Serenade of the Seas in a 13-day voyage from San Diego to Miami. The CDC confirmed 94 passengers and 4 crew reported gastrointestinal issues such as vomiting and diarrhea. Passenger Bob Pettit, 87,cited, “It really hits you hard, violently… I’ve never been this sick in my life.” His son Josh stated elevated cleaning and stricter hygiene rules on board.
