Disney World has never been shy about creating special experiences that come with an extra cost. From dessert parties to after-hours events, fans have grown used to the idea that “more magic” often comes with a price tag. Now, another beloved attraction is getting the premium treatment—this time in the form of a nighttime upcharge.Credit: Greg Goebel, FlickrA Classic Attraction With a Glow-UpEPCOT’s Living with the Land has always been a relaxing boat ride through futuristic farming concepts and lush greenhouses. But in recent years, Disney has transformed it into something even more enchanting during the holiday season. The ride takes on a twinkling, festive overlay known as Glimmering Greenhouses, turning the serene journey into a dazzling light show. For many, the holiday overlay alone is enough of a treat. But Disney has decided to go a step further by offering a special tour that lets guests see the attraction after dark in a brand-new way—at an added cost.Behind the Seeds at NightThe offering is called Behind the Seeds: Glimmering Greenhouses, a nighttime spin on EPCOT’s long-running Behind the Seeds tour. Last year marked the debut of this seasonal version, and now it’s officially returning for 2025.The one-hour guided tour gives guests a chance to step off the boat and into the attraction itself, walking through the greenhouses aglow with thousands of sparkling holiday lights. Disney promises behind-the-scenes insights into how the overlay comes together, as well as closer looks at the innovative farming techniques that have made Living with the Landa fan favorite for decades.Reservations for this limited tour open on October 9, 2025, with nightly times at 6:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m., and 8:00 p.m.Credit: Disney Dreamers AcademyA Festival FavoriteThe special offering lines up with EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays, running from November 28 through December 30, 2025. Alongside this tour, the festival will bring back seasonal staples like the Candlelight Processional, World Showcase holiday storytellers, and JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season.Guests will also find a new detail this year—Santa Claus meet and greets will move to EPCOT’s CommuniCore Hall, giving visitors an updated spot to share their wish lists.Paying for Holiday MagicThe tour is just the latest example of how Disney has monetized unique experiences. Fans who want something beyond the standard ride-through will now need to pay extra to see the attraction in its most magical form. While some may grumble at the cost, others will no doubt seize the opportunity to explore one of EPCOT’s most iconic rides in a way that few get to experience. At the end of the day, the draw of glowing greenhouses after dark is hard to resist—especially for those who want to squeeze every last drop of holiday spirit from their Disney trip. The post Disney Guests Can Pay More to See a Classic Attraction After Dark appeared first on Inside the Magic.
