The aim of this bhavan is to provide people with pure, indigenous, and natural products, thereby promoting village industries and giving swadeshi products a new identity in the market.Inderjit Singh Sodhi, the manager of Kaarmi Bhavan, said that a wide variety of daily-use items will be available here, such as hand-woven clothes, handmade household goods, natural soaps, oils, herbs, and other organic products. A special highlight is jewellery made with pure silver and gold leaf, crafted entirely by hand. He added that around 11 artisans are associated with them, and through this store, employment has been provided to nearly 50 families.Sodhi said that they already have a Gandhi Ashram in Phase 7, and this is the second MSME Bhavan opened at HLP Galleria. With the opening of Kaarmi Bhavan, people will not only get access to pure and healthy products, but the vision of “Atmanirbhar Bharat” will also be strengthened. Visitors at the event said that such bhavan encourages people to turn back to natural and traditional products, which are beneficial to both health and environment in today’s times.He also announced that on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, during the festive season, a 25% discount is being offered on all products and handicrafts, along with an additional 5% discount for women shoppers under the “Nari Tu Narayani” scheme.
