Stable One UI 8 update for the Galaxy S23 goes international

Following the release of the stable One UI 8.0 update for the Galaxy S23 series in Korea yesterday, Samsung has commenced its international rollout. Users from African, Asian, and European countries have reported receiving the update on their Galaxy S23 series phones.Galaxy S23 series gets stable One UI 8 update in several countriesThe stable One UI 8.0 update, based on Android 16, is now rolling out to the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra in several countries outside of South Korea. Users from Egypt, France, Germany, Malaysia, and Turkey have confirmed receiving this software update.This update comes with firmware version S91xBXXU8EYI5 and has a download size of around 3.3GB for the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The download size could be slightly smaller for the Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S23+. It includes the September 2025 security patch as well to make the phones more secure. If you own a Galaxy S23 and live in one of those regions, you should check for the new update on your device. To do that, navigate to Settings > Software update > Download and install. If the update is available and starts downloading, tap the Install now button after the download process finishes.
