Traffic will be regulated from 6.30 am until the event concludes.The police advisory mentions that several roads and routes around the Parade Ground will remain closed or diverted, including Udyog Path (Sector 16/17/22/23 to Gurdial Singh Petrol Pump), Old District Court to Shivalik Hotel, Lyon’s Light Point to Parade Ground, Sector 22/23 Light Point to Sector 16/17–22/23, and Sector 16/23 Small Chowk to Cricket Stadium Chowk.No general parking will be allowed in front of the Sector 22-A market on Friday. However, there will be designated parking areas such as Sector 22-B parking, Circus Ground in Sector 17, Neelam Cinema parking, and the multi-level parking in Sector 17.The police said that buses to ISBT Sector 17 will be diverted via Himalaya Marg. Between 10.30 am and 11.30 am, traffic will be diverted away from ISBT Sector 17, except for buses, to ensure smooth dispersal.All attendees of the Independence Day event in the Parade Ground should be seated by 8.30 am.
