(PTI)LT Governor Manoj Sinha, Tuesday, handed over appointment letters to 158 kin of terror victims on compassionate grounds. While handing over the letters of appointments, Sinha detailed several incidents where suspected militants killed civilians.“Wounds that have persisted for decades are now being healed. Today’s landmark event provides a sense of closure to the families who have silently suffered trauma for years,” Sinha said. “We will do everything possible for the rehabilitation of terror victims. It is my promise to the NoKs (Next of Kin) of terror victim families that perpetrators of heinous crime will receive exemplary punishment. We will also ensure the harshest possible punishment to terror sympathisers.”On July 13, L-G Sinha handed over appointment letters to the 40 families of terror victims in north Kashmir’s Baramulla. On July 22, Sinha also launched a web portal.
