Your voice was silenced, but your story will not be. Your life mattered, your dreams mattered and your legacy will be the change in a sector which took away too many lives! Happy heavenly birthday, my precious boy.”Part of that legacy is the 24/7 helpline 138, launched in 2024 to provide a vital resource for workers and citizens to report any abuse or concerns on construction sites. The number 138 was chosen because 13th August marks Jean Paul’s birthday.Through Helpline 138, Jean Paul’s story continues to drive safer practices and greater accountability across the construction sector, ensuring his legacy is one of real change.•
