(@LFCZA) August 10, 2025There will be no hangover when it comes to the feeling of losing the Community Shield, but Slot and the club will know there is still work to do on the training pitch and the transfer market.With new signings to bed in, and the expectation that more are to come, growing pains are expected, especially in defence, but there is still a lot to like about this iteration of Liverpool.The true test comes on Friday against Bournemouth and then against Newcastle, that is when we can expect to start seeing the desired changes.And at least we don’t have to navigate the Community Shield jinx, which has seen only one of the previous 14 winners go on to win the Premier League that season!
