The last three were utterly shattered by a beam of Concept empowered light. Their assailants were a man and a woman, seemingly 30 at the eldest and vaguely similar to one another, perhaps related. While Irwyn was startled by the assault - which was already the second time in just as many hours, and that should be a wake-up call if anything - the attackers seemed no less surprised by their failure.
