The arrested have been identified as Ravi Tartiya and Sunil Chudasma, both aged 27. According to Vadodara DCB, the accused stole a chain worth around Rs 2 lakh from the woman when she travelled on the auto-rickshaw on August 7. With help of the CCTV footage, the DCB nabbed the two accused and seized the auto-rickshaw they were using to lure and rob passengers.“The gold chain has been recovered from the accused. Two mobile phones and a cutter were also recovered from them. Two women, who are part of the gang, are wanted in the case,” the DCB said in a statement. Both the arrested accused have been previously involved in four cases of theft in Gujarat as well as in other FIRs lodged against them in Haryana.The two accused have been booked under Section 303 (theft) of the BNS.
