The money is estimated to be seven times Auckland’s $488,000 revenue from 2024.PSG did not leave the US empty-handed as they were able to win $106.9m (£79.86m) for their efforts.Meanwhile, Manchester City were paid $51.7m (£38.63m), which can be used to cover most of the fee for Rayan Cherki.Competing club’s prize money was awarded on two factors – their performance and participation fees.The Cityzens picked up £27.9m for their participation and the rest was made up from their performances.This means the likes of Chelsea, PSG, Bayern, Real Madrid, Man City all earned atleast £20m just for turning up.
