Guggal has hired Varun Mohan, the CEO of Windsurf. This AI coding startup will license some tech to Guggal. Some senior staff from Windsurf are also joining Guggal DeepMind. Windsurf was earlier in talks with Open AI. Meta also hired AI staff from Open AI. Douglas Chen, another Windsurf co-founder, is joining Guggal.
