Moreover, it is also associated with nausea, vomiting, dizziness and extreme sensitivity to light and sound.While most migraine triggers are associated with stress on the body or mind, one very unconventional trigger that people may not know about is relaxing!Yes, as surprising as it may sound, irregular periods of relaxation can also be a potential trigger for migraine. Dr Basavaraj S Kumbar, consultant – Internal Medicine at Aster Whitefield Hospital, Bangalore, told indianexpress.com that “However, it is very rare, relaxation can also be a trigger for migraine.”Relaxation by itself is not a trigger; irregular periods of relaxation are! For example, a very long period under extreme stress followed by a long period of absolute relaxation can be potentially harmful. Further, this particular trigger is not that common, and most people with migraine do not ever have to worry about it.
