[Nile Post] Uganda's fiscal priorities are once again under scrutiny after the Ministry of Finance revealed that Shs17.18 trillion has been released for government spending in the first quarter of the 2025/26 financial year -- with Shs6 trillion, or more than one-third, allocated to debt servicing and treasury operations.
