Slovenia has imposed sanctions on Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and declared them persona non grata in the country over what the country calls "genocidal" statements. This is the first EU state to impose sanctions on Israeli ministers.
