A mysterious pro-Mamdani group claiming to speak for Jews is bankrolled by a Marxist tech mogul linked to Chinese propaganda.By World Israel News StaffA group purporting to represent Jewish New Yorkers backing anti-Israel mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani is bankrolled by a far-left billionaire based in China, according to a New York Post report.Avowed Marxist and tech entrepreneur Neville Roy Singham, who lives in China and has been linked to the propaganda arm of the Chinese Communist Party, is the largest funder behind the Jews for Zohran organization.Alicia Singham Goodwin, Singham’s niece, is the the director of Jews for Zohran’s parent organization, Jews for Racial and Economic Justice.Singham Goodwin’s mother, Shanti, is a department chair at a Chinese communist party-controlled university. Her father, Daniel, worked at Roy Singham’s tech company ThoughtWorks, according to the Post.Jews for Zohran is currently partnering with Jewish politicians, including Rep. Jerry Nadler, to try to convince high-level Jewish political leaders, such as Sen. Chuck Schumer, to endorse Mamdani.Ex-local politician Rory Lancman told the Post that the efforts to convince Jews to support Mamdani are disturbing.“The demonization of Israel leads to the demonization of Jews who support Israel, which is overwhelmingly the majority of Jews in the U.S.,” Lancman told the Post. “Receiving the endorsement of Jewish elected officials represents a normalization of the demonization of Israel and the demonization of Jews that naturally flows from that.”The Mamdani campaign recently exploited a victim of the October 7th Hamas massacres to convince Jewish New Yorkers to vote for the far-left candidate.Mamdani has refused to condemn calls to “globalize the intifada” and has promoted a staunch pro-Palestinian stance.Mamdani’s father, Columbia University Mahmood Mamdani, argued in his 2004 book Good Muslim, Bad Muslim: America, the Cold War, and the Roots of Terror that suicide bombing was an understandable part of a modern warfare.“Suicide bombing needs to be understood as a feature of modern political violence rather than stigmatized as a mark of barbarism,” he wrote. The post ‘Jews for Zohran’ backed by China-based communist billionaire appeared first on World Israel News.
