Ukraine’s SBU security service announced Sunday it had tracked down and killed Russian agents they said had assassinated one of their members.A two-strong team, a man and a woman, had killed Colonel Ivan Voronich in Kyiv on Thursday, said the SBU statement.“A special operation was conducted this morning, during which members of the Russian FSB agent group put up resistance, and they were eliminated,” said the statement.While the statement did not specify how many people had been killed in the operation, the SBU posted a video in which two bodies were visible.The team that killed Colonel Voronich had spent time getting to know his daily schedule and routes, said the statement.For more than three years, Ukraine and Russia have regularly accused each other of assassinating political and military leaders, as well as carrying out acts of sabotage and espionage.The post Ukraine Security Service Says Has Killed Russian Agents appeared first on The Defense Post.
