Both shows often draw crowds of guests, and many Annual Passholders are blocked out of the parks on July 4.Credit: DisneyThis year, Walt Disney World Resort reportedly saw lower crowd levels for Independence Day, with Disney Park guests reporting low wait times, empty walkways, and ample dining options throughout Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. However, another group of Central Florida Disney Park guests shared their unusual experience in the EPCOT World Showcase on July 4.JoJo’s World, a YouTuber with over 1.4 million subscribers, visited EPCOT with his friends on the Fourth of July. Throughout his 30-minute vlog of the group’s day, JoJo and his friends noticed the infamous gray clouds descending on the Central Florida Disney park, indicating that a rain shower was coming soon. Unfortunately, the storm hit while the group walked between the Germany and China World Showcase Pavilions.The screaming friends ran into the House of Good Fortune, the primary merchandise location in the China World Showcase Pavilion at EPCOT. At first, JoJo was worried the rain had damaged his camera.“That came out of nowhere,” the drenched Disney Park guest said. “…We’re stuck in China now.”Unfortunately, some of the group’s drinks from the Germany World Showcase Pavilion were lost in the chaos.Credit: Brittany DiCologero, Inside the Magic“I spilled all of my beer,” JoJo said. “My hands smell like beer… I’m glad my camera’s okay. It’s so wet.”The YouTuber also shared footage of the empty China Pavilion as the rain poured. Only two guests in ponchos braved the storm.“Wow. It’s good we came in here when we did,” JoJo said. “…There’s no way I can go outside right now.
