The video then moves to a recent interview Mamdani appeared in, where he was responding to US President Donald Trump’s claim that Mamdani is a Communist who should be arrested.Mamdani said he would not back down, and stopped himself before saying “ultimately,” switching up his sentence mid-way. “I am listening, I am learning. I sat down for an interview with News 12 and I almost pulled it off,” he said in the video.Concluding the video, he said, “So, please keep sending me your feedback because ultimately, I will get better.”“I was given an ultimatum,” he captioned the video.Watch here: View this post on Instagram A post shared by Zohran Kwame Mamdani (@zohrankmamdani)Also Read | Top 10 countries with the largest international migrant populations in 2025: Here’s where India standsThe video quickly gained traction, leaving several social media users in splits. “You are ultimately aware of your own transmitted resonance and hence I love your transparency,” a user wrote. “Not a politician taking feedback and applying it in real time,” another user commented.“The pause has me dying man (laughing emojis),” a third user reacted.Born to filmmaker Mira Nair and Mahmood Mamdani, Zohran Mamdani has been serving as a Democratic member of the New York State Assembly for Queens’ 36th District since January 2021.© IE Online Media Services Pvt LtdTags:social media viralsZohran Mamdani
