The recent firing of a Disneyland Resort cast member has sparked debate among Disney Parks fans. Many believe the Southern California Disney park was too harsh, while others say the former cast member should’ve known better than to break company policy.On July 3, Inside the Magic shared this video from TikTok user @offeruphustle, who said it was the reason Disneyland Resort fired him. Because the Disney cast member took the footage after Disneyland Park closed, the Main Street, U.S.A., area was considered “backstage,” even though it’s usually an “onstage” area. After all, many Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort guests can enter before the parks open with breakfast dining reservations or tours. In fact, he said he wanted Disney Park guests to see how hard cast members work to keep everything clean: “Ppl would say Disney don’t wash the floors everyday. He said he was “days away from quitting” before Disneyland Resort “beat [him] to the punch,” and is pursuing his own business full-time.
